ABOUT US
Some of you are wondering why we're called "Quirkies..." well, the first step is admitting it. LOL! If you're here, chances are you either have a child with special needs or you work with our community. We meet during the day when school is in session at different restaurants twice per month. Times can be fluid and will be posted on the quirkies calendar. Anyone can plan an event or suggest a place to meet.
Over the summer, we try to plan family friendly picnics and outings. Our facebook group is a secret group so that we can post without the danger of unwanted views. Feel free to vent, ask questions, post ideas, share events, etc. All I ask is that you be respectful of different opinions, philosophies and struggles. Remember that what works in your house might not be what's best for another house and we use NEURODIVERSE language here. :)
